Auguring

Zoom's auguring service works by using a machine with a flexible steel cable or snake that rotates through your pipes with an attached blade. The blade helps dislodge and punch through blockages allowing water to drain. This is the fastest way to get your pipes draining again but it does not clean out the full pipe right to the walls.

Jetting

Make old pipes like new again. Zoom's jetting service uses high velocity jetting. A hose is propelled by water into the sewer line under high pressure and powerful jets of water exit a special nozzle that cleans blockages and the pipe wall, cutting through roots and debris.

Jetting is useful for;

- Removing grease - Removing blockages
- Breaking up and removing sludge and accumulated debris
- Cutting and removing existing roots
- Cutting out hardened scale
- Flushing out the system, leaving lines clear
- Cleaning out main lines and catch basins

Root Control

Mature trees add beauty to landscapes, but their roots can cause extensive damage to sewer pipes. Roots grow into pipes through joints or cracks in the pipes to access the water and nutrients inside. Once roots infiltrate a pipe they will continue to grow and spread into septic lines acting as a net and holding grease and debris which can restrict flow and cause blockages. If left untreated, roots can do serious damage to sewer lines, widening cracks and joints and even causing line failure resulting in the line having to be replaced.

Annual root treatments can help to keep your system root free and avoid costly repairs.

RootX is a non-systemic herbicide, meaning it will kill the roots on contact but it will not go up the roots and harm the tree. The formula foams on contact with water to reach the entire surface including the top of the pipe where most of the roots are found. RootX sticks to the pipe walls, preventing re-growth for up to three years. Dead roots decay over time, restoring pipes to their full capacity. RootX is non caustic and does not contain live organism killing copper sulphate, it will not harm pipes, septic systems or above ground vegetation.
